Council Opportunities

In July each year, Chamber members are invited to put themselves forward for nomination to council - the nomination has to be proposed and seconded by two other Chamber members.

Details of those standing for election are then sent out to all Chamber members who then vote for those they would like elected to council.

If you would like to nominate yourself as a Chamber council member to represent the wider business community in Birmingham or find out more about the advantages of becoming a council member, e-mail Kiran Virk, policy adviser, at k.virk@birminghamchamber.org.uk
